A graduate of the University of Vermont and the Brooklyn Law School, Steve has an impressive list of credentials that firmly establish his widespread reputation as an expert in criminal defense litigation.
A former Special agent in the U.S. Treasury Department and Public Defender he has been a member of the firm for over thirty years. Since his admission to practice in 1967, he has served both as a President of the Queens Criminal Courts Bar Association and of the Queens County Bar Association.
He has been co-chairman of the Criminal Courts Committee of the County Bar for many years and lectures there on topics of interest to other attorneys, including criminal law and legal ethics. He serves currently as a member of the Advisory Board of the Assigned Counsel Plan and for the Para-Legal Studies program at LaGuardia Community College.
Steve was honored as "Man of the Year" by the criminal lawyers of Queens County in 1987. Having handled hundreds of criminal trials during his career makes Steve an attorney you want on your side.
